It is a beautiful and peaceful river for canoeing and fishing and parts of it are also popular with water skiers. The area is abundant with birds, plants and wildlife and there are some great walking tracks.

The variety of birds, plants and animals is extensive, so keep your eyes and ears open as you walk beside the river. Fish include Murray Cod, Freshwater Catfish, Golden Perch, Redfin, Tench and European Carp. The Dimboola Regatta is in November is an event not to be missed.
